The Department of Mathematics and General Studies sponsors the Interdisciplinary Studies and Mathematics majors, the two-year Associate of Arts degree, and minors in Mathematics and History and serves as the liaison with the two ROTC programs with which North Central University is affiliated (Army, University of Minnesota; and Air Force, University of St. Thomas). It also oversees many courses required as part of the General Education Core in Art History, Biology, History, Government, and Physical Science. The Department traditionally has housed new areas of study at North Central that may develop into separate majors over time.
Use this course rotation as a rough guide to help you prepare for your advising meeting.
Note: Mathematics and Math Education majors should check with their advisors each semester regarding math offerings since these programs are still in a state of development!
