General Information

Mission Statement

The department of Arts & Sciences supports the general mission of the University by overseeing many of those courses required in the General Education Core, specifically courses in Art History, Critical Thought, General Studies, History, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Science. 

Vision Statement

The Department of Arts & Sciences seeks to focus its academic offerings in the areas of Mathematics & Science and History & Critical Thought with the goal of eventually establishing formal majors in some of these areas, thereby assisting the University in preparation for full membership in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
