| Activities focus upon culture and language learning: Mi Tambo orphanage in Ambato, Felt-needs ministry in the city of Ambato, day care in Ambato, day care in villages outlying Ambato. Touring to better understand culture: museums, national landmarks, places of interest including the Mission Aviation Fellowship compound in Shell-Mera (base of operations for Nate Saint & Jim Elliot). Language and culture: Staying in church member’s homes, attending various services in differing ethnic groups and differing socio-economic groups. | |||

Uganda Leader-Nan Muhovich June 8-July 8 |

| The Uganda Trip will be from June 8 - July 8, 2008. We will fly into Entebbe, drive five hours to Mbale in Eastern Uganda. There students will live with host families in the village, learning language and culture and observing successful community development projects first hand for three weeks. We will spend a few days ministering to street children in Mbale through Child Restoration Outreach, and we will also spend a few days with TASO, The AIDS Support Organization in Uganda. We will take a day out to shoot grade five rapids on the Nile River. We will then travel north to Gulu to visit Invisible Children and World Vision projects serving former Child Soldiers.Finally we will spend 3-4 days with the Jesus Film project doing an evangelistic crusade on the little reached Islands of Lake Victoria. At the end of the month we will travel west for a few days viewing game at a game park. | |||
