Description of Duties

Instructional responsibilities include teaching 3-9 credits per semester of Spanish language courses and labs. Compensation is based on qualifications, including education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Ph.D. or M.A. in Spanish or related field (minimum of 16 credits towards a Masters of Spanish)
  • Evidence of teaching ability, curricular development, and scholarship
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member
  • Committed to biblical integration in and out of the classroom

Equipment and Tools

Use of a PC and telephone, photocopier and facsimile machine approximately 95% of the workday

 

Environmental Conditions:

 

  • Exposure to repetitive motion of the fingers, hands and wrists daily
