Brent Adamson Memorial Fund for Children's Ministries
Brent loved children and was a Children's Ministries major who was killed in a tragic car accident as a senior. This fund is for students who share the passion Brent had four children.
 
 
Alan Bean Memorial Scholarship
Alan died in an accident in his late teen years. His passion was for reaching the lost through the preaching of the gospel.
 
 
G. Raymond Carlson Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Carlson served as the president of North Central University from 1961 to 1969. He later served as the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God.
 
 
Paul & Katharine Carlstrom Endowed Scholarship
Paul and Katherine have contributed many years of service to the Deaf community.
 
 
Gunnar Danielson Memorial Scholarship
Gunnar was a businessman who played an instrumental role in the building of the College Life Center, which is now named the Clark-Danielson building. He worked with North Central in the area of advancement after he retired.
 
 
Michael Day Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Day was a part of a rock band before getting saved and becoming the music pastor at Urbana Assembly in Illinois. He brought his choir to North Central and his passion for urban and music ministry was evident to all. His life was shortened by an illness.
 
 
Monte DeLong Memorial Scholarship
Monty and his wife were very interested in education as evidenced by the home schooling of their two children. Monty's academic strengths were in the engineering and math areas. He suffered from Huntington's disease and was disabled for the latter portion of his life until his death.
 
 
Rev. Beatrice Granger Scholarship
Rev. Beatrice Granger worked with the Emmanuel Gospel Tabernacle in low-income areas in Minneapolis. This scholarship was set up in her memory to further the spreading of the gospel in the city and around the world.
 
 
U.S. Grant Scholarship
U.S. Grant had a heart for assisting young men and women who showed strong potential for success in the area of youth ministries and preaching.
 
 
Ortwin Hanson Endowment Scholarship
Rev. Hanson pastored for 50 years in both Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. His heart for missions was always a central theme in his ministry. This scholarship was set up to assist missions majors at North Central.
 
 
F.J. Lindquist Scholarship
Rev. Lindquist was the founding president of North Central. He served as a pioneering pastor and regional superintendent. He began the school in his church in what is today Christ's Church International. Later it was moved to its present location.
 
 
Irene Lindquist Scholarship
Irene was an instrumental part of the establishment of North Central University as she worked with her husband Frank. She was a person who loved the students and did whatever she could to help them through their years at North Central.
 
 
David Irwin Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Irwin served as a missionary to the Muslims. He was killed in a car accident. North Central has an annual chapel emphasis on Muslim ministry named in his honor.
 
 
T.J. Jones Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Jones served on the faculty of North Central for several years. His personal library collection was massive and students checked books out from him. Out of this collection grew our present T.J. Jones library.
 
 
Orril and Sarah Krans Memorial
Rev. Krans served on the faculty for many years in the music and Bible department. He would regularly travel on weekends in ministry to represent North Central.
 
 
Mary Larson Memorial Scholarship
The Larson family was an active part of Riverdale A/G in Andover, MN. Some members of the family were involved in a car accident that claimed the life of one of their children. For years the scholarship was known as the Minnesota Donor Scholarship. When Mary died of cancer, the scholarship was renamed in her honor.
 
 
Marshall Memorial Scholarship
Madrid Marshall had a passion for teaching and touching the lives of children. Her nieces and nephews started this scholarship with the money they inherited from her. It is their hope that the passion that was such a great part of her life will continue on in the lives of those who receive this scholarship.
 
 
George, Sr. and Sarah Jane Mastrobuono Memorial Scholarship
George Sr. and Sarah Jane were very loving people. George always wanted to leave a memorial. After his death, his family decided that it would be fitting to establish a memorial in their parent's name, for dedicated pastoral students at North Central.
 
 
O'Brien-Neidlinger Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Thomas and Melba O'Brien, for the purpose of helping rural North Dakota students get a Christian education.
 
 
Marvin Nystrom Memorial Scholarship
Marvin is a businessman who has established scholarships in a number of educational institutions within the Twin Cities. He is interested in educating the leaders of the future.
 
 
Patrishak/Ulseth Scholarship
David and Sharon Ulseth pastured a church in the Chicagoland area. The Patrishak family were members who under the guidance of Rev. Ulseth, set up a scholarship at North Central.
 
 
Rev. Samuel C. Peterson Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Peterson served as the pastor of Brookfield A/G in Wisconsin for many years and was the father to former faculty member Rick Peterson. As described by his wife, he was "a loving husband and caring father.. .a Pastor of great integrity, gracious to everyone and a faithful servant of God."
 
 
Lillian Petz Scholarship
Lillian has always had a heart for missions and has established her planned giving efforts to include assistance to those who are called into missions ministry.
 
 
Don Phillips Memorial Scholarship
Don Phillips was a missionary to Holland . His sons attended North Central University. This scholarship was established to further the work of missions.
Ratzlaff Scholarship
Mrs. Ratzlaff has an interest in the education of young people who will make a difference in society. She has established scholarships through her planned giving that will help students prepare for their vocation.
 
 
Rev. and Mrs. Herman Rohde Scholarship
Rev. Rhode served as the district superintendent of Minnesota for a number of years as well as being on the board of North Central. He also pastored in Minnesota.
 
 
Niilo M. Seppala Memorial Scholarship
Niilo was married to Leona who was a member of the first graduating class of NCU. Niilo and Leona pastored in several different locations and sometimes among the Finnish community. Niilo loved the Lord and has a passion for souls that was evident in his ministry.
 
 
Oscar and Ruth Schreier Scholarship
Oscar and Ruth were very concerned with winning souls to Christ. Consequently, this scholarship was started because of their heart for missions.
 
 
Waldo and Beatrice Trask Ministerial Scholarship
Waldo and Beatrice were saved during the tent meetings in the Brainerd area. Their son later would become the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God: Rev. Thomas Trask.
 
 
Annabel Zimpfer Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is given to a Pastoral or Missions major with a GPA of 2.8 or above.
