Evergreen Scholarship Endowment Fund

What is the Evergreen Scholarship Endowment Fund?

The Evergreen Scholarship Endowment Fund is the premier program for endowments established by North Central University to increase and maintain scholarship dollars for students.

An endowment gift continues to help students over time. With an endowment, the principal of the fund is invested. At the end of the fiscal year, a percentage of the interest earned is used for scholarships and the remaining income is reinvested to increase the value of the endowment.

The Evergreen Fund is currently valued at $500,000. Our goal is to substantially increase this fund over the next ten years.

How You Can Help

The cost of education at North Central University remains considerably less than many other four-year, private Christian institutions, yet many students still need financial assistance. By helping to make their education more affordable, you reduce their financial burden and better enable them to pursue the call of God on their lives after graduation.

North Central University invites individuals, families and churches to establish an endowment fund in their name, or perhaps in the memory of a loved one.

Endowments can be established with a minimum initial contribution of $500. Endowment donors may add to their accounts in amounts of $50 or more. The fund becomes endowed when the principal reaches $10,000. A scholarship is then granted to a student that meets the criteria set forth by the donor, which is generally based upon financial need and/or academic merit.
