Computer Literacy Questionnaire
Subject area: Addressed students' perceptions of their ability to use different computing skills, and other questions regarding computer usage
Format: Self-report on a scale of 1 ("no experieance whatsoever") to 5 ("highly skilled"), as well as open-ended items
Implemented: All ncoming freshmen in 2001 and all graduating seniors in 2002
Data summary:
Seniors rate themselves most highly skilled in the following areas:
- Using email
- Typing/keyboarding
- Word processing
- Using the Internet
Seniors report feeling relatively comfortable and experiencing little anxiety when using computers.
