#21 Ryan Leak

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central Unversity is pleased to announce that Senior guard Dan Helstrom and junior foward Ryan Leak were named to the NCCAA All-Region team.

Dan Helstrom (Hibbing, Minn.) was named first team All-Region following his senior year. Helstrom averaged 13 points and just less than 3 rebounds. He led NCU in scoring during the year and in 13 individual contests. Dan's 19 points against St Scholastica (Duluth, Minn.) helped the Rams defeat the Saints for the first time in NCU history.

Ryan Leak (Rockford, Ill.) was named second team All-Region for his junior year. Leak averaged over 8 points and more than 4 rebounds a game for the Rams during the year. Leak's 21 points against Grace University (Omaha, Neb.) helped NCU upset the then number seven ranked Royals in the last contest of the regular season. Leak led North Central in rebounding eight times during the season.
