Shayla Yeackley is in her first year as administrative assistant for the Athletics Department. Shayla is also the department's Senior Women's Administrator, helping to ensure the equitable treatment of female athletes and sports as NCU continues in the NCAA III membership process.

Shayla is also in her fourth season as Head Women's Basketball coach, although this is her eighth year of involvement with the program. Shayla played for four years at North Central, is the university's all-time leading rebounder and is third on the all-time scoring list. She graduated from NCU in 2000 with a degree in psychology and is originally from Lincoln, Neb.
