The Crucible

Word and Worship Chapel

"Written by Arthur Miller in 1952, The Crucible is a historical play based on the events of the Salem witch trials, that take place in Massachusetts in 1692. The witch trials, as Miller explains, grew out of the particular moral system of the Puritans, which promotes interference in others' affairs as well as a repressive code of conduct that frowned on any diversion from norms of behavior."
