North Central University students took some time away from the classroom to serve the local community on September 11, 2012. Community Outreach Day, an annual service event, involves NCU students, faculty, and staff, volunteering with various organizations, and projects within the community.

North Central University Welcomes Students to Campus
The 2012-13 school year is in full swing as students arrived on campus for Welcome Week, August 25th-29th.
(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) July 30, 2012—Best known as the original lead singer of Dove Award-winning group Sonicflood, celebrated worship leader and solo artist Jeff Deyo released his fifth worship album, Moving Mountains, on Aug. 7. The project seeks to encourage listeners to persevere in faith and trust God’s goodness, even, and especially, in the midst of hardship and difficulty.

NCU Students and Faculty attend Symposium
North Central students, faculty, and guests attended the 6th Annual Crown Scholars’ Symposium at Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota on Saturday April 14, 2012. This was an important opportunity for students from various colleges to share the work they’ve done and to hear about the work in which other students have been involved.

North Central names "Writer in Residence"
Inspiring his students to find their voice and develop their craft, NCU alumnus Gary Dop (1999) lives to encourage young writers. The title of "Writer in Residence" honors his accomplishes as a distinguished writer and poet.
