North Central students, faculty, and guests attended the 6th Annual Crown Scholars’ Symposium at Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota on Saturday April 14, 2012. This was an important opportunity for students from various colleges to share the work they’ve done and to hear about the work in which other students have been involved.
Inspiring his students to find their voice and develop their craft, NCU alumnus Gary Dop (1999) lives to encourage young writers. The title of "Writer in Residence" honors his accomplishes as a distinguished writer and poet.

The 2012 Festival takes place April 20 and is sponsored by the Department of Communication Arts within the College of Arts and Sciences and the NCU Film Collective, the student film club.

April is Transfer Month at North Central University. During the month of April, all transfer students who apply for admission will have the $25 application fee waived. In addition, transfer students who apply during April will receive expedited transcript evaluation and will be automatically entered to win one of six $500 scholarships.
OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--- North Central University guard Nathan Roeder, who led the Rams in scoring and assists, headlines the 2012 All-Independent Men’s Basketball teams announced today by the Association of Division III Independents.
Roeder, a junior from Hudson, Wis., averaged 22.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
