Thank you for your interest in the Regent’s Scholarship at North Central University. One full-tuition renewable scholarship is awarded to a first-time entering freshman student each year, based on superior academic performance, references, a written essay, and active membership and regular attendance at an Assemblies of God church.

Please fill out the three forms below after reviewing the criteria for the scholarship. If you have questions, please reach out to the North Central Admissions team.

Criteria for Applying

The Regent’s Tuition Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship awarded to one first-time freshmen student each year based on superior academic performance and leadership/extracurricular experience, two references, and a written essay. Eligible students must meet the following criteria at the time the application is submitted:

  • Minimum 3.5 High School GPA
  • Optional: ACT/SAT score will be considered if you have one, but will not be required for the 2024 selection process.
  • The top 10 finalists will be asked to provide a 2-3-minute video to aid in the selection process. A specific video prompt will be provided to the top 10 finalists.
    • Basic guidelines will include a three-minute max time limit, the video can be recorded on a cell phone or webcam (camera quality will not be considered), and the video must be recorded in a single, continuous shot and should not be edited. We want to ensure a level playing field between students who have access to equipment and technology and those who may not.

The scholarship recipient must be accepted to North Central University in order to receive the scholarship. In addition, the recipient must enroll in the Fall 2024 semester or the scholarship will be forfeited. The top 10 finalists will be selected by March 1st and video submissions must be received by the top 10 finalists by March 15th. Applicants who are not selected to be a finalist will be notified by March 5th. All finalists will be notified of the final decision before April 5th.
