Boneless Buffalo Wing Recipe Review

One of the harder things for me to resist is that wonderful smell of HOT buffalo sauce smothered onto a chicken wing...mmmmmm

I came across this recipe around Super Bowl time and decided to give it a try since it seemed too good to be true.  It is from a recipe base on

Boneless Hot Wings

Calories: 210 Fat: 2.7g Carbs: 16g Protein: 29.3g

Ingredients for 2 servings:

1/3 c. whole-wheat bread crumbs (hard to find ingredient-can make own or substitute for normal bread crumbs)

2 T hot sauce, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cayenne pepper (or more IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT), 1 tsp black pepper

8 ounces boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite-size chunks


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Place bread crumbs in a pie pan (or something similar), add seasonings and mix well.  Place chicken pieces in a seperate dish, and cover and toss with hot sauce.  Spray a sheet pan with nonstick spray.  Give each piece of chicken a shake, and then coat it evenly with the crumbs.  Use one hand for the wet ingredients so that the bread crumbs will not clump.  Place the chicken on the sheet pan.  Bake for 10 minutes, then turn over.  Flip and bake an additional 7-8 minutes or until fully cooked.  Serve with more hot sauce, if desired, or a low-fat bleu cheese dressing (Nutrition info not included!)  Don't forget the celery!


These are AMAZING!!! They are very simple to make and have a great buffalo taste.  I used the new Tabasco Hot Buffalo wing sauce, and it gave enough kick to satisfy my cravings.  Overall these boneless wings end up being a MUCH healthier choice than the traditional wings.  If you are a fan of Bleu cheese dressing I recommend searching online for a lower-fat recipe to make your own.  Give it a try!
