On November 29th, commuting students at North Central gathered together for a time of worship and fellowship. Every month, a chapel service specifically for students who do not live on campus is put on by the Student Development Department. The Commuter Coordinator, Gordon Helle, said "It is truely amazing when such a diverse community as the commuters at North Central gather together. It is great to see the connections that take place and the work that God is doing."
A meal is always served after the service, to allow students to feed their bodies as well as their souls. These chapels are some of the most anticipated events on campus among the off campus students. There will be 4 more commuter chapels during the spring semester.
