Melessa Henderson

Melessa grew up on a farm just outside of Lafayette in southern Minnesota and graduated from Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School. She participated in 4-H, FFA, drama, speech team, and athletics. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Minnesota in English and secondary education where she was in the honors group, was director of the International Study and Travel Center, and during that time also taught English in Sweden. Melessa's doctorate of law is from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul where she completed two years on the Law Review and was a contributing editor of the Law School Newspaper.
