Information Technology Maintenance Window

As the demand on technology increases on a daily basis, regular procedures must be performed on information technology (IT) systems to ensure they are properly maintained. Many of these maintenance procedures require interruption of services for the duration of the procedure.

Therefore, the Information Technology department is introducing a regularly scheduled maintenance window which will be used for repairs, installations, upgrades, testing, patches, and other processes and procedures which may cause limited or no access to IT system resources. During the scheduled maintenance window you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

The maintenance window will begin on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010 from 4am-7am and will reoccur every Wednesday at the aforementioned time. Several North Central systems including: Moodle, internet, QX Products, Unet, wireless internet, etc. may or may not be affected during this time.

There may be times outside of the aforementioned window that a procedure will need to be completed due to an emergency or time-critical maintenance. These times will be communicated via one of the following methods: Technical Support Twitter Feed (, Rama Report or Email.
