Tuna or Chicken Pot Pie
Prep time: 10 minutes
1 package refrigerated all-ready pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 12.5oz. can of tuna or chicken, drained
1 10oz. package frozen peas and carrots, thawed
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can of cream of potato, cream of mushroom, or cream of chicken soup
1/3 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning, dried thyme, or italian seasoning
Line pie pan with 1 crust, set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; salt and pepper to taste.
Pour filling in pie pan, top with remaining crust.
Seal and crimp edges.
Slit top crust to vent
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
Campbell's Easy Chicken Pot Pie
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
1 10.75oz. can of cream of chicken soup
1 9oz. package of frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 cup cooked chicken or turkey
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup all purpose baking mix.=
Preheat oven to 400 degree
Mix soup, vegetables and chicken in 9 inch pie pan.
Mix milk, egg, and baking mix.
Pour over chicken mixture.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Quick, Cheap, & Easy Dinner
Brown 1lb. beef, turkey, or pork, drain.
2 cups water
2 pakages ramen noodles, with seasoning packets
16oz. frozen vegetables, your choice
1 teaspoon ginger
Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 3 minutes.
Dice 3 potatoes and simmer until tender, drain
Cook 1lb. of hamburger with salt and pepper.
Add cooked potatoes. (Add diced green peppers if desired.)
Add a dash of the following - if so desired:
Onion (powdered or flakes)
Add 1 can diced tomatoes or rotelle
Add 1 can of black beans
Wrap in tortillas
Brown 1lb. of hamburger, 1 chopped onion, and 1/4 cup chopped green pepper.
Put in 9x13 pan.
Top with 8oz. shredded mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle with 2 Tbs. of flour
Pour 1 can (2 cups) of pizza sauce over all.
Beat 2 eggs, 1 Tbs oil, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Pour over sauce
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Cut into pieces and turn over onto plates as you serve.
Shish Kebab with Peanut Sauce (Indonesia)
In deep bowl, combine:
1 tsp. garlic, finely chopped, or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbs. sweet soy sauce, or regular soy sauce
1 Tbs. brown sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
3 cups chicken or quality beef, but in 1-inche cubes
Marinate at least 30 minutes.
Thread meat on skewers.
Brush lightly with oil.
Barbecue or broil until crisp and brown.
Dip in Hot Peanut Sauce.
Serve with rice.
