Co:Mission Director

The Co:Mission Director supports the organization’s goal of empowering students from all majors to build collaborative partnerships in a diverse cultural setting. She or he will guide students in dynamic learning and present service opportunities to help fulfill the great commission. She or he will also train and support the Co:Mission team leaders, as well as facilitate the logistics of the Co:Mission Program.

Upper Room Director

The Upper Room Director is selected to train, encourage, and support the Prayer Team Leaders. The director is also responsible for casting vision and creating a positive team culture. She or he will also manage the schedule for The Upper Room and recruit for facilitators.

Upper Room Leader

Upper Room Leaders recruit, develop, and lead students to facilitate prayer in The Upper Room. They are also highly involved in the planning and leader of Prayer Team events, as well as collaborative events with other organizations.

Executive Vice President

The North Central Student Government (NCSG) comprises all student organizations at North Central University. The President’s Cabinet, consisting of an elected President and Executive Vice President, along with three specialized Vice Presidents, empowers NCU students by supporting the work of these student organizations, and by being the voice of the student body to University leaders.

The Executive Vice President (EVP) serves as the President’s main support in representing the student body and supervising the NCSG President’s Cabinet. The EVP plays a key role in empowering the student body by overseeing the work of the Senate.

Impact Director

Organization leaders of Impact create and/or continue groups of students serving a specific mission to our external community. They work together with other Impact leaders to plan events and collaborate on various areas of external ministry. All Impact leaders and their organizations are overseen by the Impact Director.

President

The North Central Student Government (NCSG) comprises all student organizations at North Central University. The President’s Cabinet, consisting of an elected President and Executive Vice President, along with three specialized Vice Presidents, empowers NCU students by supporting the work of these student organizations, and by being the voice of the student body to University leaders.

The President serves as the top student representative at North Central University, supervises the NCSG President’s Cabinet, and promotes collaboration and communication among all student organizations.

Senate

Student Senators are elected as the representative and legislative arm of North Central Student Government to facilitate growth and improvements on campus as a bridge of communication between students and faculty/staff. Senators identify and understand the unique culture of the represented living area and serve as a strategic liaison between students, faculty, and staff, effectively communicating student needs and concerns.

In addition to the application, senators must also complete the NCSG Senate Petition.

Vice President for Finance & Administration

The North Central Student Government (NCSG) comprises all student organizations at North Central University. The President’s Cabinet, consisting of an elected President and Executive Vice President, along with three specialized Vice Presidents, empowers NCU students by supporting the work of these student organizations, and by being the voice of the student body to University leaders.

The Vice President for Finance & Administration (VPFA) serves to support the President’s Cabinet and all NCSG student organizations with financial management and organizational development. The VPFA chairs the meetings of the Administrative Council, the top representative body of student organizations.

Vice President for Project Management

The North Central Student Government (NCSG) comprises all student organizations at North Central University. The President’s Cabinet, consisting of an elected President and Executive Vice President, along with three specialized Vice Presidents, empowers NCU students by supporting the work of these student organizations, and by being the voice of the student body to University leaders.

The Vice President for Project Management (VPPM) serves to support the President’s Cabinet and all NCSG student organizations by helping good ideas become reality. The VPPM works with the Cabinet and student organizations to move projects from vision to execution.

Impact Executive Director

The IMPACT Director structures the organization to accomplish a common mission and vision. She or he will facilitate collaborations within the IMPACT group and guide each group to move towards their individual mission. The Director will also be a visible advocate for student involvement.

Peer Mentor

Peer mentors provide leadership in the Foundations of Leadership course and New Student Orientation. Mentors help to facilitate a 75-minute section of Foundations of Leadership and provide support achieving the goals of the program, which includes helping orient students to the NCU environment and serving as a role model and a resource for college-specific information. Each mentor will help 18-20 new students in making the transition to college life.

Peer Mentor Director

Peer Mentor Directors provide leadership to the Peer Mentor program and New Student Orientation. Four Peer Mentor Directors, one for each college (College of Arts & Sciences, College of Ministry/Institute of Biblical and Theological Studies, College of Fine Arts, College of Missions) will provide direction and guidance to a team of Peer Mentors within their college. They will assist in creating college-specific applications of the Foundations of Leadership curriculum and provide regular feedback and support to Peer Mentors. Peer Mentor Directors will help to administer a successful New Student Orientation, focusing on providing a quality transitional experience for first-year students. Directors will help to develop balanced programming for first-year students, promoting the integration of both community and academic involvement into the first-year experience.

SAC Director

The SAC Director position provides leadership to a committee of peers whose purpose is to provide FUN events for the whole campus. The SAC Director assists in intentionally cultivating a lively campus culture with events that appeal to all students, with the goal of creating and increasing fellowship among NCU students. The SAC Director guides the SAC team through each stage of the event planning process: brainstorming, marketing, planning, and implementation, providing leadership, feedback, and assessment strategies for the team.

SAC Member

A Student Activity Committee member is part of a team of students whose purpose is to provide FUN events for the North Central campus. The SAC members assist in intentionally cultivating a lively campus culture with events that appeal to all students, with the goal of creating and increasing fellowship among NCU students. SAC members ensure that each event is as excellent as possible through focus and dedication to each of the event planning stages: brainstorming, marketing, planning, and implementation.

Student Development Interns are upper-class students who work alongside the Student Engagement & Experiential Learning Department in fostering campus wide community, implementing student leadership development programming and performing other administrative duties.

Co:Mission Leader

A Co:Mission Leader is selected to recruit, prepare, and lead a team of students on a short-term mission trip following Spring semester (May). He or she will be responsible for communicating with the staff leader, participants, and the host missionary for the trip. He or she will also be responsible for the logistics that pertain to the trip.

Praise Gathering Director

The Praise Gathering Director is responsible for promoting spiritual unity of the team, giving direction and vision, and facilitating the various ministries within the Praise Gathering organization. She or he provides spiritual covering and authority during Praise Gathering meetings, giving direction as needed. She or he also sits as a student representative on the university’s Spiritual Life Team.

Praise Gathering Team Member

Praise Gathering Team Members are responsible for planning, preparing and attending weekly Praise Gatherings. Planning and preparation includes prayer, organizing the band, creative and media arts, etc.
