On Tuesday, January 24th a group of about 30 local area 5th graders visited North Central University's campus to learn about recreation, wellness and college life. The students were able to participate in a variety of on-campus activities. They attended chapel, where they were able to meet Jeff Deyo and participate in worship. They also got to visit the school's cafeteria, where North Central's food service director, Greg Andrews, taught them how to choose healthy meals in the caf. Another activity they got to participate in was a tour of North Central's fitness center. Here, Jake Smith, Molly Madstadt, and Kelly Berg taught them how to use a variety of work out equipment, including the new spinning equipment, the treadmills, and the weight lifting equipment. The students also had a great time getting a tour of North Central's campus and interacting with a variety of the school's students, staff, and faculty.
