Chords

Know and be able to play the following:

• All major and minor chord forms and be able to demonstrate the ability to form diminished and augmented chords in any key
• All major 7th, dominant 7th and minor 7th chord forms
• All sus 2 and sus 4 chord forms

Scales

Know and be able to play the following:

• 1 Pentatonic and 1 blues scale in 1 major and 1 minor key

In addition to the above be able to play the following:

• A basic I-vi-IV-V progression in any key using any combination of the 5 chord forms
• Be able to read and perform a contemporary Christian "praise" chart on sight
• Capo Skills - be able to transpose with a capo from the following keys: C, A, G, E and D to a flat or sharp key. Also be able to play a I-vi-IV-V progression in the capoed position
