Dr. Mark Ellis comes from a rich background of leadership and management experience of over 20 years.  He is the Senior Partner of the Ellis Group.  He has over 20 years combined teaching experience both in the traditional classroom and online.  He has taught in M.B.A. programs at several world-class universities in the United States in the area of organizational leadership, business administration and business law (contract law, employment law and tort law).  He also has continued graduate education at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

His education majors consist of business management, organizational leadership, and law.  His Ph.D is in organization and management with leadership specialization.  As professor in a doctoral program, his area of expertise assists doctoral students in aligning their dissertation topics with their proposed methodologies.  His responsibilities consist of teaching doctorate level courses, serving on dissertation committees, and serving as dissertation chair/doctoral mentor.

Dr. Ellis has functioned in a variety of administrative capacities at institutions of higher education helping to expand their management and leadership programs.  Further, he has been instrumental in curriculum development and course design at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

An intense physical fitness enthusiast, he enjoys mountain biking, water sports, and intensive weight training.  He resides in Northern California with his wife of over 23 years and three children.  Dr. Ellis is an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God, Springfield, Missouri, and is a member of the Northern California/Nevada District of the Assemblies of God.
