Recreation and Wellness

General Information

In Recreation and Wellness we aim to provide quality programming and activities that will help students stay fit and active while preparing to follow God's calling. We agree with Herophilus, the ancient greek doctor, who said “When health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot manifest, strength cannot fight, wealth becomes useless and intelligence cannot be applied.” Our mission statement is: “The NCU Department of Recreation and Wellness provides excellent sport, fitness and wellness programs that enhance student experience while generating positive and sustainable lifestyle habits.”
