Fall NCU Days

Spring NCU Days March 16-27

Join us on campus for The True University Experience, on Thursday-Friday, March 26th to 27th! Attend college classes, stay overnight in a residence hall, eat in our cafeteria, worship with students, and hear from great guest speakers.  Early bird registration of $20 covers all of your meals, activities, and events. Register beginning January 5th!

Letter to Parents/Guardians:

NCU Days is a great time for you and your student to visit North Central. It is a two-day event that combines a serious college visit with a fun-filled youth convention. Your student will have the chance to visit classes, talk with professors at the University Fair, meet their Admissions Counselor, fill out an online application for free, and experience chapel with current students. They'll also get to have all-you-can-eat meals in the cafeteria, and enjoy an evening program. It will be a chance for them to experience real college life in a safe, nurturing environment.

We recommend that parents and youth pastors come.  You can also check out our lodging page for hotels that have deals for NCU visitors, as only students are allowed to stay the night on campus.

There are a lot of things for you to do in Minneapolis, and I encourage you to explore – the Mall of America, the Guthrie Theatre, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, a host of restaurants downtown, your hotel, or a local coffee shop. So go ahead; enjoy a night without the kids!

There are a couple technical details about NCU Days you should know:

  1. Every student staying overnight needs to fill out an overnight waiver form and fax, email, or mail it to North Central Admissions. When your student registers for NCU Days, the waiver form will be sent by email to the email address provided on the registration form. If your student is younger than 18, a parent must also sign the waiver form.
  2. Students staying overnight should bring a sleeping bag and pillow. With students staying overnight, some students will be camping out on couches or floors. It will be fun, but cold without some type of blanket. Bringing bathroom toiletries would also be a good idea.
  3. Parking for guests during NCU Days is provided on our campus free of charge. When your student registers, they must enter how many parking permits they need. When you arrive on campus, we'll have staff in orange vests directing you to free parking spots. If you choose to drive around downtown, however, you may want to bring some quarters for parking meters, as most of downtown is metered.

We are committed to making NCU Days a safe, fun, educational experience for you and your student. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding North Central or NCU Days. I am here to help!

Letter to Youth Leaders / Pastors:

Don’t miss an outstanding opportunity for your students to check out North Central University during NCU Days, March 26 - 27, 2015. Our theme is The True University Experience.  The earlybird cost is $20 per student, which includes all meals, lodging, activities, and events. Each student also receives a FREE t-shirt.

At North Central University, we recognize the substantial influence you as youth leaders have in your students’ lives. We invite you to join in on the fun, too.

We are truly excited for your young people to live The True University Experience while on campus, connect with God, and explore His plans for their future. Event details, including specific information for parents and youth pastors, a listing of hotels that offer a discount for NCU visitors (NCU will not be providing housing for parents, pastors, or youth leaders/chaperones), and registration are available here.
