We are looking for a full-time assistant/associate professor in our Social Work program. This field education coordinator position will include 25% of time as coordinator of internships, and 75% of time as teaching faculty. Faculty responsibilities include teaching 9 credits per semester, academic advising, working collaboratively on departmental and university committees, participating in the spiritual life of the NCU community, and engaging regularly in professional development and scholarly activity. Compensation is based on qualifications, including education and experience.

The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for organizing and administering the North Central volleyball program. This includes planning practices, recruiting, managing team budget, planning service opportunities for the team and becoming a mentor/role model to help each athlete grow in spiritual maturity.

The Freshman Academic Counselor serves as the University’s primary facilitator of details related to all new student registration and academic advising. Responsibilities include producing quality advising and registration materials, advising incoming students on appropriate first semester course selections, producing and assigning accurate degree audit sheets, overseeing veterans benefits, and providing superior customer service to all students.

The Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruiting potential students in a strategic manner presenting accurate information about the university to prospective students. Specific duties include,coordinating on-campus events, serve as academic advisor for freshmen during their first semester registration, represent the university at various churches, youth conventions, conferences, and college fairs and phone recruitment/counseling. This position requires the ability to travel 40% of the time.

The Fine Arts Department of North Central University currently has two adjunct positions available for the spring of 2008: violin teacher and a clarinet teacher. Both positions are part time.
