Faculty: Social Work Professor – Field Education Coordinator

North Central University, Minneapolis MN is looking for a full-time assistant/associate professor in its Social Work program. The University seeks to attract an active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. This field education coordinator position will include 25% of time as coordinator of internships, and 75% of time as teaching faculty. Faculty responsibilities include teaching 9 credits per semester, academic advising, working collaboratively on departmental and university committees, participating in the spiritual life of the NCU community, and engaging regularly in professional development and scholarly activity.Compensation is based on qualifications, including education and experience.
Minimum qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
- At least two years of post-baccalaureate or post-master’s social work experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Be or become a member of an Assemblies of God church
Preference:
- Doctoral degree
- Experience in the areas of child & family, immigration and/or international social work
