Minneapolis, MN – North Central University’s annual Partners for Progress Banquet was held on Thursday, October 30, 2009 at the Historic Depot located in downtown Minneapolis. The annual banquet serves as an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with friends and colleagues, hear the vision of President Dr. Gordon Anderson, and invest in the future of NCU.

Guests in attendance at the banquet enjoyed a performance by the NCU Chorale, and the program included the presentation of two awards: Alumnus of the Year (David Boyd, 1981) and Young Alumnus Award (Amber [Place] Damm, 1998).

President Dr. Gordon Anderson gave the keynote address, reiterating North Central’s vision of changing the world through the process of the “transformational education” experienced at NCU. The $216,000 raised during the banquet brings the total campaign to $1,016,000 in commitments toward the goal of $1.5 million to renovate the recently acquired building at 1425 Chicago Ave.
