Four North Central University students were selected on December 7, 2009 by The Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education to take part in an 8-week Summer Mission Experience. The Alliance selected students from a pool of applicants from various Assemblies of God colleges from across the nation. In total the Alliance chose 32 enrolled sophomore, and junior undergraduate students to take part in the 2010 trip. The Missions Experience will take place at the end of the 2010 spring semester and run from May 19- July 24, 2010.

NCU students that were selected include Junior Sara Upham, Sophomore Kimberly Hassebrook, Junior Jacob Murphy, and Sophomore Rachel Lojovich. The four will serve on one of four teams and work alongside missionaries and local pastors in focused ministries in the Canary Islands, Kosovo, Italy, and Albania. Each student will help spread the gospel through evangelism, children’s ministry, preaching, teaching, sports ministry, music, drama, literature distribution, prayer, technology, and in other ways that are needed to assist the local church.

Those selected will also receive scholarships through the contributions of generous Assemblies of God friends to cover 80 percent of the cost, and will be responsible for the remainder, which includes roundtrip airfare, meals, lodging, and local transportation.
