Semester Begins with a Great Week of Chapel

Date: January 15, 2010 - 10:03pm

Minneapolis, MN – The return of daily Chapel services is always one of the highlights of each new semester at North Central University, and the 2010 Spring Semester was no exception. NCU's Worship Live and One Accord provided the musical backdrop, leading worship during the 3-day opening week of classes, and three NCU Faculty members kicked off the speaking schedule.

Fine Arts professor Dave Pedde led off the semester with a message titled 113 days, encouraging the NCU community to remember the importance of making everyday count and to give their utmost during the semester - to make the best of the next 113 days.

Bible and Theology Chair, and Professor Dr. Glen Menzies, spoke during Thursdays chapel with a message titled Choose Life. Dr. Menzies spoke on the importance of living out life with purpose and not simply taking what comes easily.

Jeff Deyo, the newest member of the NCU faculty wrapped up the opening week of chapel with a message about purpose. Deyo shared his personal and professional journey that brought him to NCU, and challenged students with truths he learned along the way, encouraging them to pursue God and find their place in the Body of Christ.
