Just+Hope Tour to Hold Benefit Event

Minneapolis, MN- Venture Expeditions' Just+Hope Northern Tour is holding a Benefit Event to raise funds and provide awareness about the harsh reality of modern day child slavery. The event is July 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Overflow Espresso Cafe located in Minneapolis, MN. Those who live in Twin Cities are invited to attend this benefit that includes music from local musicians a silent art auction, stories from the riders and a chance to support the work of the Just+Hope Campaign.

The Just+Hope Northern Tour is a cross-country cycling campaign designed to provide awareness and funds towards the harsh reality that is child slavery. Over the next two months and over 3,000 miles the team of fourteen riders will trek across the U.S. to churches and communities, encouraging people to take action.

As the lead sponsor of the 2010 tour, North Central University is pleased to contribute to this cause through prayer and financial support. NCU is also proud to see alumni and current students taking time out of their summer schedules to participate in this amazing effort. In 2009 NCU was the lead sponsor of another Venture Expeditions campaign, The Ride:Well Tour. The Ride:Well Tour was composed of a team of cyclists who bicycled from Los Angeles to Washington DC, raising funds and awareness for Blood:Water Mission (B:WM) and the 1,000 Wells Project, an initiative established to build wells in 1,000 underdeveloped African communities.
