Recording Artist Jared Anderson Stops by NCU

Date: October 12, 2011 - 3:07pm

North Central University students were treated to a time of worship with recording artist Jared Anderson on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.

Anderson, who is currently on the road for his “Hear us from Heaven: A campaign of Worship and Prayer,” fall tour, took some time to stop by North Central for Chapel to lead worship. With standing room only, students filled the chapel with songs of praise as Anderson covered original songs and current hits including “Rescue” and “Amazed.” Anderson was also accompanied by one of North Central’s choirs under the direction of Dr. David Collins.

Known for his work with New Life Church and the Desperation Band, Jared Anderson is the force behind two critically-acclaimed solo projects, 2006’s Where to Begin and 2008’s Where Faith Comes From, both of which infused Anderson’s worshipful lyrics with pop sensibility.
