NCU Teams Perform Well This Fall

North Central University athletic teams performed well across the board this fall claiming two NCCAA Championships, a UMAC championship and several Regional Championships.

Mead Win Leads NCU to Seventh National Title

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- A performance to remember from a senior in her final race and two freshman in their first NCCAA Nationals race headlined the Rams run to a seventh straight NCCAA National Title on Saturday at the Elvin King Memorial Cross Country Course on the campus of Cedarville University. North Central placed all five scoring runners in the top 11 and cruised to a 47 point victory in the team standings. Read more...

Men's XC Claims Third Straight NCCAA Title

Rams Run Away with Third Straight UMAC Title

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- Spencer Hutton's face lights up when you ask the head coach of NCU Men's Golf about his team this season. But when you ask him about about the way his team played at the 2011 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship Tournament Thursday through Saturday at the Alexandria Country Club, he will tell you a story about overcoming one challenge after another to maximize a level of talent that produced a run away victory for the Rams third straight UMAC Title. Rams Earn Fourth Place at NCCAA Nationals

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central used the first opening round win in program history to earn their best ever finish at the NCCAA DII Women's Soccer National Championship Tournament hosted at the Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex in Kissimmee, Florida last week. Despite two narrow losses, the Rams ended up with a fourth place finish and many positives to take into the future. Read more...

Rams Take Seventh at NCCAA Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central had been nine seasons with out a NCCAA DII Regional Championship banner going into 2011. With that dry spell broken and a sense of hope going forward the Rams Men's Soccer squad claimed seventh place at the NCCAA National Championship Tournament with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory over Dallas Christian University on Saturday. Volleyball Regional Tournament Recap

Minneapolis, Minn. North Central University hosted the NCCAA DII North Central Regional Tournament Friday and Saturday. The Rams came in as the low seed (4th) and looked to get an upset or two in the double elimination tournament and cause some trouble for the teams seeded above them. Read more...
