North Central Climbs in Latest U.S. News & World Report
Minneapolis, MN – For the fourth consecutive year North Central University has been recognized among America's Best Colleges and Universities by the U.S. News and World Report. North Central was selected as a 'Best Baccalaureate College' (Midwest) in the report’s Best Colleges 2012. Over the four year span that North Central has been acclaimed it has improved its overall standing each year, debuting in Tier 4 in 2009, improving to Tier 3 in 2010, jumping up to Tier 1 in 2011, and improving its overall ranking in Tier 1 for 2012.
North Central has made significant advancements in the past year, including the formation of colleges, and schools within the university, revamping its academic programming, and gaining NCAA Division III status in Athletics, among others.
North Central was privileged to see its fourth consecutive Assemblies of God Distinguished Educator Award, an honor awarded to individual faculty members who exemplify excellence both in and outside of the classroom.
U.S. News and World Report defines the Midwest as Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.
