Congratulations to NCU Enactus

Congratulations to the 2012-2013 NCU Enactus Team! On May 22, 2013, The team was the second runner up in their region at the 2013 Enactus USA National Exposition in Kansas City, MO. 

The exposition consisted of hundreds of Enactus teams competing to move on to the Enactus World Cup in Cancun, Mexico, where they would represent the United States in international competition. As a second runner up, the team placed in the top 50 of almost 600 programs throughout the country.

Enactus, formerly known as SIFE, is a student run organization where students use their gifts and skills in business concepts to create and develop outreach programs to improve the quality of life of those in need. This year they completed a total of 7 projects including Project SOS, Interview ME, and StartUp Twin Cities that had a direct impact on over 2,000 individuals.

Professor Bill Tibbetts led the presentation team of six students less than 24 hours after he and two of the students returned from an overseas trip to Uganda to teach and help build local small businesses.
