North Central Adds New Applied Studies Programming
Minneapolis, MN - North Central University is excited to announce a new program offering a degree in Applied Studies. Through a working partnership with a local community college, students can simultaneously earn a bachelor’s degree and an associate’s degree in an applied vocational area. This partnership allows North Central to offer opportunities for graduates to work in marketplace trades and vocations that have not been previously offered at NCU – preparing more types of marketplace ministers.
Students in the Applied Studies program are fully NCU students - living on campus, attending chapel, completing all general education and Bible/Theology required courses at NCU, participating in community spiritual life, etc. During their sophomore, junior and senior years, however, students will take courses both at NCU and at the community college. At graduation time they will have earned an NCU bachelor degree in Applied Studies featuring one of the program areas below for which they will also receive an associate’s degree from the other school.
