Minneapolis, MN – North Central University is honored to host the annual Partners for Progress banquet on October 24, 2013 at our exciting new venue, the Radisson Blu, Mall of America. North Central alumni, partners and friends will gather for a wonderful celebration of NCU's past, present, and exciting future. The banquet provides an opportunity to hear president Dr. Gordon Anderson's vision for the future of NCU, hear wonderful testimonies and great music, and see how God is working through the NCU family. This year's guest speaker will be NCU Alumnus Katie Meyler founder of More Than Me and winner of NBC's Chase American Giving Awards for her work with young girls in Liberia. RSVP online today!
Partners for Progress 2013 featured speaker: Katie Meyler
North Central University alumna, Katie Meyler ('05, Interdisciplinary Studies), created her foundation More than Me in 2009 after years of working with poverty-stricken children around the world. Her work has gained recognition by the United Nations, the nation of Liberia, and key leaders around the world. Katie is also the recipient of NCU's 2013 Young Alumnus Award. Last December Katie's foundation was featured on the Chase American Giving Awards, which honors charitable organizations that are making a difference and the heroes behind them. More than Me was chosen from 25 competing organizations as the winner of a $1 Million grant on the NBC primetime special.
