Description of duties
The Head Basketball Coach is responsible for organizing and administering the North Central basketball program. This includes planning practices, recruiting, managing team budget, planning service opportunities for the team and becoming a mentor/role model to help each athlete grow in spiritual maturity.
Qualifications
Previous coaching experience is preferred. Applicants for this position must be friendly, approachable, team-oriented and willing to work on a limited budget. Weekly meetings with the Athletics Director are required and good communication skills are essential for this position. Applicants must sign a Christian lifestyle statement. Season length: October – February, with some limited hours required in the off-season.
