Mailing Information
Soon your student will be living in Minneapolis, MN and you are going to want to send them some care packages, coffee gift cards, or whatever touch of home they need. Below is what you need to know to ensure that your student receives that special package:
1. Every student at NCU is assigned a box number and this number must appear on all mail and packages.
2. The address format is:
Johnny Smith
NCU 0000
910 Elliot Ave
Minneapolis, MN 55404-1391
-or-
Johnny Smith

3. The Mail Center will forward to a freshman’s box for 60 days, after the start of a semester. This means that starting November 1st (Fall Semester) or March 1st (Spring Semester), any mail that does not contain the student’s mailbox number will be returned to sender.
a. Students retain the same mailbox for the duration of their time at North Central. This allows students to easily transition from year to year and provides stability for a mailing address. Because of this stability, the Mail Center requires the box number on each piece of mail.
If you need to send anything to you student that requires a signature, the Mail Center can sign for it. Here is how our package system works:
1. We pick up the mail starting at 9am and then other services (UPS, FedEx, etc.) deliver throughout the morning and day – with the Mail Center signing for all packages.
2. After the package is received, the Mail Center will enter the package into the school’s Package system.
3. Once it is entered, an email will go out to your student’s North Central email address notifying them of their package.
4. The student just needs to come in to the Mail Center and present their ID card or the Package ID number from the email. They will then sign for the package in the school’s system
If you have any questions or comments regarding our system, we are always open to hearing them. You can contact us directly via:
