As assistant professor of youth ministries, Mendoza began his journey with North Central University in August 2006. Through this position, Mendoza molds the minds of those who have aspirations of being youth pastors and workers.

Mendoza has spent over a decade working as a youth pastor at an urban bilingual church. He also spent four years as the District Youth Director of the Midwest Latin American District. In these positions, he has planned and directed youth camps and conventions along with leading life-changing mission and evangelism ministry teams. He is called to train youth leaders and pastors to relevantly minister to youth. While preaching, Mendoza draws attention with his own style and visual and interactive ministry.

Having explored the many facets of youth ministry, Mendoza effectively teaches youth pastors and workers to put together dramas, mission trips and powerful services to touch the youth.
