YOUTH SPECIALIST NATE RUCH is on the forefront of student ministry. During the last decade, Ruch led effective ministry to young adults during the transition between Generation X to the postmodern Millennial Generation. Ruch can teach youth ministers how to navigate through the dynamic ebb and flow of large group meetings, and manage the nuances of small group ministry.
Ruch directed the Spirit-filled youth ministry know as JC's Place at Emmanuel Christian Center from 1994 to 2003. During that time, he assembled and led teams of youth ministers and 95 volunteers that ministered to the 700 to 800 students each evening. Under Ruch's leadership, Emmanuel's cell groups for middle school, high school and college-age students increased from four to 19. Ruch's ministry reached out to homes across the U.S. through televised broadcasts of JC's Place on the Skyangel satellite network.
Nate serves on the Minnesota District Executive Youth Committee and is the father of four boys.
Ruch's passion for ministry is obvious every time he steps in front of an audience at youth camps, conferences and conventions. His passionate delivery and poignant messages stir the hearts of young people and bring them face to face with a message that the world needs-the reality of Christ and they way He can change their lives. Nate has the maturity and experience to lead adult gatherings in topics such as ministering to students in non-Christian settings, preaching that motivates change, and developing small group ministries.
