DR. TENNANT is one of the most outstanding women ministers and educators in the Assemblies of God today. Her career includes 30 years of teaching, preaching, ministering, consulting and academic administration experience in the public and private sectors. In 1999, Pentecostal Evangel magazine featured Tennant as a "woman role model for the church."

 

Currently a professor of English, Dr. Tennant has served North Central in four different administrative positions since 1982, including Vice President of Academic Affairs and Vice President of Student Life. Along with her lifelong love of literature, Carolyn has studied Celtic worship and spirituality extensively, and recently authored a play on the life of St. Patrick and a daily devotional guide on leadership. Tennant is an authority on revival movements and regularly visits Argentina with students to study revival in action. She has traveled the world as a missionary, researcher and speaker.

 

Dr. Tennant is in high demand as a speaker and consultant.Her warm stage presence and storytelling style of preaching bring depth to the sizable list of topics she speaks on, including how the Church can become more effective in our postmodern times.
