Role at North Central

Dr. Graham brings a wealth of experience to this role. He holds a master’s degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and D. Min from Bethel Seminary. He has served on both the Alumni Board and the Board of Regents of NCU, and has a distinguished career in ministry, including serving as a pastor in North Dakota and Wisconsin. He joined NCU as the Dean of the College of Church Leadership in 2014 and later served as Vice President of Spiritual Life and Special Advisor to the President. He also held a position as the Assistant Superintendent of the Assemblies of God in Minnesota, while continuing to teach several classes in leadership and ministry at NCU.

Personal Information

Doug has been married to Vicki since 1984. They have four children who attended NCU, Kyle, Kirk, Kaleb, and Karlee. Doug’s passion is to invest his life and experience into a new generation of spiritual leaders who will impact the Church and the world. Besides his work and ministry at NCU, Doug is an avid triathlete who loves to swim, bike, and run (in that order).

Role at NCU

Vice President Bethany Harshbarger oversees areas highly impacted by the challenges and opportunities facing higher education. Her teams are tackling new realities head-on through a variety of innovative initiatives. “We are excited to continue to improve our processes and student experiences in all areas,” Harshbarger said. “I’m especially eager for the rollout of our new “One Stop” student services model that provides a streamlined path for students to access the NCU services they need. With One Stop, new recruitment initiatives, and enhanced marketing resources, we are positioned for an excellent future!”

Areas of oversight include Admissions, Student Financial Services, Retention, Marketing and Communications, Student Development, Spiritual Life, Multicultural Engagement, and the Student Success Center.

Professional Experience

Vice President Harshbarger has been at North Central for 10 years, serving in multiple roles in Admissions, including Director, and most recently as Executive Director of Enrollment. She is also a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God.

Role at NCU

Joshua Edmon joined our staff at North Central University in 2020. He serves as Associate Vice President of Spiritual Life/Dean of Multicultural Engagement. Since stepping into his new role, he now oversees Spiritual Life, Chapel, and Multicultural Engagement at North Central.

Professional Experience

Associate Vice President Edmon has served in higher education as an admissions counselor at Trinity International University and as an Educational Outreach Specialist with the TRIO program at Joliet Junior College. In addition to these vocational roles, Joshua has served in a variety of pastoral positions, serving as a church campus pastor, a worship pastor, and missions pastor with a focus on church planting.

AVP Edmon is married to his wife Sameka and they have two children, Skylar and Zachary.

AVP Williamson is married to Bree Williamson, an alumnus of NCU (’07). They have three children, Reagan, Boston, and Paxton. He enjoys running the lake system in Minneapolis, reading, spending time with his family, and is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. AVP Williamson is passionate about investing in the next generation of leaders at NCU.
