Significant Accomplishments and Experience

  • Worked in the Colorado prison system for 17 years as a mental health clinician and interacted with a wide variety of people. 

  • My current research agenda involves studying the psychological aspects of table-top role-playing games, investigating individual sustainability and lifestyle simplification behaviors, and researching the psychology of professional wrestling. 

  • I have been published in three peer-reviewed academic journals. One of my articles, a grounded theory study, has currently been downloaded from the Qualitative Report website over 1000 times since publication in November 2017.  Finally, I have published three podcasts for an online peer-reviewed website, two of which are related to psychological research methods
