About:

Todd Wold spent his first three years of higher education as a student at NCU (1988-1991) and recounts wonderful memories of professors and friends that impacted his life greatly. Having spent nearly 18 years in the corporate world of communication, public relations and marketing, Todd is excited to be a part of the dynamic faculty and academic community at NCU. Today’s students live their daily lives on the bleeding edge of mediated communication–from twittering cell phones, to X-Box Live gaming, to posting online videos for a global audience. As a university professor of communication arts and media, one of Todd’s goals is to move students from the passive role of media consumers toward an active autonomy as media scholars. Ultimately he seeks to help NCU produce graduates that can ethically apply their unique perspectives and Christian worldview on communication media to help advance the discipline’s body of knowledge, while advancing the kingdom of God. He and his wife, Dawnshelle (also a former NCU student) are proud parents of three children.
