Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) give you an opportunity to earn college credits while you’re still in high school. The best part about PSEO? It’s free!
Here’s how you apply:
Step 1 — Apply for PSEO admission
Step 2 — Send your Character Recommendation Form
Have a teacher, guidance counselor, or school administrator who knows you well complete this form. Sorry, but recommendations from relatives won’t be accepted.
Step 3 — Send your high school transcript
Send us an official transcript from your high school or homeschool through at least the middle of your sophomore year (for junior applicants) or junior year (for senior applicants). You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA.
Use this High School Transcript Request Form (pdf) to contact your high school counselor and request that they send our Admissions Office an official copy of your transcript
Step 4 — Send your college entrance exam scores
Forward your results from one of the following college entrance exams:
- ACT—Minimum score of 18 required (optional writing portion scores not included)
- SAT—Minimum score of 850 (optional writing portion scores not included)
- ACT Aspire, Pre-ACT, or PSAT Standardized Tests—Must score at 50% or higher
Step 5 — Send your Notice of Student Registration Form
Complete the Notice of Student Registration Form (pdf) and send it to our Admissions Office.
Step 6 — Interview
We might ask you to come in for an interview. Not all PSEO applicants are required to complete an interview, but an interview may be requested by North Central for a variety of reasons. A request for interview doesn’t necessarily have either positive or negative implications on your application.
Where should I send my application and forms?
Mail all of your application materials to:
North Central University Admissions Office
910 Elliot Avenue
Minneapolis, MN 55404
What happens after I complete these steps?
Once we’ve received all of your application materials, we’ll review your application and inform you of an admissions decision as soon as we can.
