A SENTIMENT re: Roe vs Wade Reversal<\/h2>\n

Yesterday was a victory for life. <\/em><\/p>\n

However, yesterday is just the beginning of a greater call that follows this decision.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nBelievers… Today isn\u2019t the time to shout your victory in anger at those who believe differently than you.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nThis isn\u2019t about a political party.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\u00a0Today is the day to start loving more.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nLove the women who find themselves in a situation where they don\u2019t know where to turn.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nLove the women who have chosen abortion in the past.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nLove the children who are motherless and fatherless.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSupport adoption.<\/em>
\nIn fact, consider adopting.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSupport the foster care system.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSupport single moms who are struggling to make ends meet because they are raising children they refused to abort.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nThis is not the end of a battle, but a time to shift gears and put our money, actions, and love where our words have been for so long.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nNow is the time where we can fuel the hate that is so evident between different groups of people in our nation, or it\u2019s a day where we can focus on what matters.<\/em>
\nThe children. The women. The lives.<\/em><\/p>\n

A Call to Action<\/h2>\n

Please consider this a time to begin researching and acting on how you can give, offer support, and show Christ’s love.<\/p>\n

Here are some Assemblies of God opportunities provided in the article Creating a Culture of Life<\/a>, written by AG General Superintendent Doug Clay<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Assemblies of God established the AG Foster Care Network<\/a> to bring together many existing AG ministries to foster families.<\/p>\n

COMPACT Family Services<\/a> provides resources, services, and training to both individuals and churches on the issues of foster care, adoption, single-parenting, women facing unplanned pregnancies, and other issues related to the restoration of the family.<\/p>\n

The AG ministry Backyard Orphans<\/a> has a dozen team members involved in training church leaders about caring for children who need healing homes.<\/p>\n
