Erica Hanson, Executive Director of Marketing<br \/>\nand Communications, received Staff of the Year honors for 2022 at the Staff<br \/>\nAppreciation celebration in May.<\/p>\n<h2>About Erica Hanson<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Erica Hanson \u201913 returned to work at North Central full time in 2015. She hit<br \/>\nthe ground running as she was hired one month before the launch of a new<br \/>\nwebsite and oversaw the staff doing the majority of the implementation.<br \/>\n\u201cRunning\u201d continues to be a good descriptor of Erica in her work all across<br \/>\ncampus. She and her team create all university marketing materials for<br \/>\nprospective students and work collaboratively across departments to<br \/>\nproduce internal and external communication for employees, students,<br \/>\nalumni, donors, university partners.<\/p>\n<p>Hanson\u2019s fingerprints can be seen across the university as she plays a key<br \/>\nrole in design and aesthetics for many facilities projects, ensuring that the<br \/>\ncollective visual experience at the university aligns with the NCU brand. She<br \/>\nis a brand champion and is called upon frequently to consult and have her<br \/>\nteam create collateral that showcases North Central University. During<br \/>\nphases of the COVID-19, Hanson oversaw the creation of all printed materials<br \/>\nand a comprehensive website to communicate important health protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Hanson holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration from North<br \/>\nCentral University. She worked previously as Director of Marketing for<br \/>\nAugustana Care, and is currently a part-time firefighter for the Eden Prairie,<br \/>\nMinnesota, Fire Department.<\/p>\n<h2>Staff of the Year Award<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Staff of the Year is an employee recognized for performance in the<br \/>\nfollowing areas:<\/p>\n<p>Quality of work<br \/>\nInteraction with others<br \/>\nConsistency in going beyond normal job requirements<br \/>\nInitiative to solve problems<br \/>\nExemplary commitment to quality and<br \/>\nThe ability to meet needs of students, faculty, fellow staff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Erica Hanson receives 2022 Staff of the Year Award &nbsp; The North Central University Staff of the Year Award is a peer-nominated honor presented annually to recognize exemplary service to North Central University and its constituents.
