The Institute for the Next Gen (iNG) at North Central is entering an exciting new phase! We’re revamping our approach to ministerial training and development and engaging in an innovative new model for educating and enriching the lives of the next generation.<\/p>\n
At the core of this new model lies collaboration\u2014a dynamic coalition of practitioners, field experts, ministers, and more. Together, we’re committed to empowering the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, skills, and passion to make a profound impact on the world.<\/p>\n
Joining forces with NCU, Steve Tripp, the District Youth Director of the Wisconsin\/Northern Michigan District, will help guide the iNG initiative. His enthusiasm is contagious as he shares, “I am so excited to invest in the next generation of leaders and connect them with established voices from a diverse arena of experience and perspective. These conversations will be vital in shaping the future as students pursue a life in ministry.\u201d<\/p>\n
But that’s not all! influential leaders such as Kirby St. John, Minnesota District Youth Director, Chris Pruett, Minnesota District Kids\u2019 Ministry Director, and Adam Sikorski, M.Div., the interim Dean of the College of Church Leadership, will contribute their expertise to ensure the program’s success. Pruett states, \u201cReaching the Next Gen will take focus, determination, and authenticity. I\u2019m honored to partner with NCU as we find a new fight in our hearts for today\u2019s kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
Working hand in hand with our AG partners experienced in Youth and Children ministries, we’re crafting a dynamic curriculum that meets the ever-evolving needs of the next generation.<\/p>\n
Engaging in meaningful conversations with various individuals, we’re drawing from their insights and experiences to create an exceptional program that leaves no stone unturned in preparing our future leaders.<\/p>\n
A special shoutout to Jeff Grenell for his visionary dedication in birthing iNG at NCU. We’re grateful for his incredible work in ministering to the next generation, setting the stage for this momentous chapter.<\/p>\n
The iNG at NCU will continue creating opportunities for ministers to connect with students on campus, providing real-world insights and fostering mentorship opportunities that profoundly shape young leaders’ lives.<\/p>\n
