Kate previously served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at NCU until April 2022.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In her newly established role, Vice President Ketterling will be responsible for overseeing both the Human Resources and Operations divisions, including<span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46043089 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46043089 BCX0\">the Directors and Executive Directors of Operations, <\/span>Facilities Management, Campus Safety and Security, Information Technology and Innovation, Media Production, Copy and Mailing Services, and Housekeeping and Events.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">V.P. Ketterling began her professional journey in Human Resources with Stephens Inc., a prominent family-owned financial services firm in the United States. After becoming a mother, she dedicated the majority of her time to raising her four children. During their formative years, she contributed her skills to AG Financial, offering administrative support for church and para-church organization fundraising. In addition, she made contributions to the real estate sector, specializing in staging and marketing strategies.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Throughout her career, V.P. Ketterling has been actively involved in various part-time and volunteer roles. She has lent her expertise to organizations such as Christian Heritage Academy, Inner City Christian Ministries, and River Valley Church, providing valuable support in administration, event planning, and human resources.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In 2018, she transitioned to NCU, where she initially served as the Director of Human Resources and later assumed the role of Executive Director of Human Resources. V.P. Ketterling\u2019s core competencies revolve around process creation, creative problem-solving, and promoting workplace health. Her multifaceted career reflects a commitment to excellence in diverse professional domains.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For those who have had the privilege of working with Vice President Ketterling in the past, you know her to be a person of immense capacity and character\u2014a leader who operates with efficiency and effectiveness. <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW119778386 BCX0\">She has successfully navigated challenging situations. She helped lead our covid response, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW119778386 BCX0\">chaired <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW119778386 BCX0\">the Title IX committee, and orchestrated a comprehensive overhaul of the Human Resources department.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dr. Graham, Interim President, shares his excitement stating, \u201cI&#8217;m eagerly anticipating Kate&#8217;s return to NCU in this crucial leadership role. Her adept organizational abilities, steady temperament, and spiritual leadership gifts will position her to profoundly influence our NCU community.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Since joining NCU in 2018, V.P. Ketterling has consistently impressed colleagues and leadership with her wisdom, insight, and professionalism. As a proud alumna of NCU, her dedication to the school is deeply ingrained, making her return even more special.
