Description of Duties
The Associate Registrar should understand all aspects of records and registration including transcripts, transfer analysis, advising, and policy enforcement. Also responsible for all graduation certification processes and Commencement events, along with VA Benefit management. Provides support to the Registrar in all technical aspects with software data entry and analysis, query language skills, report functions and database management, as well as coordination of the daily functions within the Registrar’s Office.
A Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of Registrar’s Office experience is required for this position. Additionally, the following will be necessary to succeed with this position: excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to multi-task and to work collaboratively as a team member; be self-motivated and capable of working on task with a minimum amount of supervision; and have the technological ability to work extensively with Microsoft and other software and web-based products. Experience with Access query language and student record database management preferred.
